Thank you to those who shared their highlights from World Quaker Day 2020.
Although many of us could not be together physically this year, it was a joy to join the three of the FWCC section online worships and to read your reports in the days since.
Our theme this year was What does it mean to be a Quaker today? Living a faithful life in a changing world. This query has never felt so relevant and it was encouraging to read your reports. Friends shared that being a Quaker to them meant ‘seeking light in times of darkness‘ or ‘doing what I can to make the world a better place -even if sometimes it’s something small’.
This newsletter shares a selection of some of the reports from the day, but you can find more on reports of the day on the World Quaker Day Website.
Finally, if you still want to share your photos and reports from the day, please do so by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org so we can share your stories on the World Quaker Day website. If you have a video to share, please send it to email@example.com via WeTransfer.
