Salary:            £22,148 per annum (£27,685 pro-rata)
Hours:             Part-time – 28 hours per week (4 days)
Contract:        Fixed term maternity cover – ten months
Location:        Friends House, Euston Road, London NW1

Friends World Committee for Consultation is looking for a Sustainability Communications Support Officer, with knowledge and experience of Quakerism, to deliver an exciting project promoting sustainability action worldwide, and to coordinate external communications for the World Office. This is a fixed-term post to cover maternity leave.

You will be engaging with, mobilising and supporting the global Quaker community to think about and act on sustainability concerns, as well as delivering the FWCC communications strategy via our websites, social media accounts, and printed and online publications.

We are looking for a friendly, organised communicator who can work within the world context of Quakerism.  Do you have up-to-date knowledge and experience of communications, including video and social media? Do you have a passion for the spiritual underpinnings of sustainability, in the broadest sense? And could you build a network to support work on that basis?
