A message from the Africa Section

Following what happened in Manchester, United Kingdom, in July 2017 FWCC received the following message from the Africa Section:

Our hearts go out to Friends in the UK, EMES following the disheartening attack on the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena. We are deeply saddened by loss of innocent lives.

Friends in Africa and especially Kenya, who have experienced similar suffering from extremists, join us in conveying heartfelt condolences to the bereaved and share in the grief and comfort to those in hospitals and families in shock.

As we carefully and prayerfully join the international community in condemning these violent attacks let our desire be for a lasting solution to this recurring problem. Let not our hearts be troubled.

Job 7:11 I will not keep silent; I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

Peace be upon you.
In Love and Friendship,
